It would sure suck to be a Mets fan today. Sorry if anyone is. I don't dislike the Mets ... just indifferent.

First and foremost I want to see the Angels beat the crap out of the Sox. If they can't, I'd like to see the Yanks do it.

Would I like the Yanks to beat the Sox head-to-head for the pennant, thus entitling me the right of waving my private parts at Sox nation associates for another miserable failure directly at the hands of the Yanks? Sure. It'd be like mixing sand into the vaseline.

But if the Angels can send them home all the sooner, then that's all the better. At least they'll have been shut up.

After being Die-Hard Yankee fan for 50+ years, it pains me to say this but I'll be pulling for the Red Sox. Three reasons.
(1) Way more scared of facing Angels, who own us, than Boston
(2) Life does not get any better than Yankees-Sox in Postseason, all 5 hour's worth each game of roller-coaster emotions.
(3) It would be SO much more enjoyable for us, & so much more traumatic for Sox fans, if WE are the ones who rip their hearts out once again, rather than the Angels. It was great even watching them just stress, squirm, & angst when we almost just overtook them at the end.

That all being said, Cleveland's one-two starters do scare me, in view of the way dominant pithing has handled us this year. I hope our starters can keep us close. Need Viz & Hideki to snap out of it & come up big. Go Yanks!

I could never ever root for the Red Sox under any circumstances. I want them swept with extreme humilation by the Angels. The sooner they go home, the better.

Here is the Billy Wagner article for New York Mag

http://nymag.com/news/sports/38353/

It talks about the Yankees and mlb in general, very little about Wagner, until you get to the last paragraph.

I can't say I'm rooting for Boston to win their series- NY-Boston series are just so stressful.

What I'm rooting for is for the Yanks to sweep Cleveland, and for LA and Boston to go the full 5 games, with a whole lot of extra innings thrown in there for good measure. I don't care who wins, I just want them exhausted when they have to face NY.

And let's go A-Rod! Time to crown that MVP season with a nice shiny World Series MVP title, too.

Morning everyone. I saw the funniest thing on my way into work. One of the streets I go down, there are always Yankee fans sitting there. Well this morning they had a huge piece of card board with all the front and back pages of this mornings papers!!
