They have had great draft picks for years and they play in a much easier division. Secondly, the Yankees are forced to overpay because no one really wants to play here (see the press grilling A Rod). The club has to pay a premium to get the top free agents. Secondly, the "home grown, gritty, small market" Red Sox actually have fewer home grown impact players than the Yanks, and your pay roll is almost as large as ours. Idiot.
