As the Yankees prepare to start their organizational meetings in Florida, Alex Rodriguez is in California plotting his strategy with Scott Boras.
“We plan to spend a lot of time together in the next week,” Boras told the Associated Press.
At issue, of course is whether Rodriguez will opt out of the final three years of his contract with the Yankees and become a free agent.
“We’re going through reams of information now and looking at the baseball side, the economic aide, the future of his family and what their goals are, putting all that into the landscape of what decision he’s going to make,” Boras said.
The goals of his family? His daughter is 3. I would guess her goal is to watch “Dora the Explorer.”
