Cashman on the way home

Brian Cashman is returning to New York. If a decision has been made, it hasn’t come out yet.

As was the case with Joe Torre, the Yankees are taking their time with this. But Hank Steinbrenner said they did plan to have it wrapped up by the end of the Series.

It’s truly agonizing, meanwhile, to watch a game on Fox. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are OK. But do they really think we need to see shot after shot of the Boston relievers banging on the roof of the bullpen?

The pregame show is nonsensical. Eric Karros said this would be the most emotional game Curt Schilling has ever started. Really? He started Game 7 of the Series against the Yankees in 2001. I would guess that was pretty big for him.
