Trenton players help out a good cause

Tom “Tonto” Kackley is the clubhouse manager of the Trenton Thunder and he had a great idea.

He organized an on-line charity auction of Thunder memorabilia. Lots of the stuff is signed by players including Joba Chamberlain, Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes.

All proceeds will go to the Domestic Violence Project.

The auction ends No. 2, so check it out and maybe you can help the cause.

maybe it’s just me, but it would look kinda weird hanging on the wall of a sportsbar.

Youkilis was never in the Yankee organization. He made his debut with the Lowell Spinners of the NY-Penn (rookie) League. He played for the Trenton Thunder in 2002 when they were a Red Sox affiliate.

As far as “Hot Stove” league discussion, i wonder what it would take for the Yankees to reacquire Damaso Marte from the Pirates?

LoDuca played in Trenton this year for Binghamton Mets on a injury rehab asssignment.

Loved to see Damaso Marte back with the Yanks…………..
