Both starters are pitching well. Karstens has scattered 4 hits while the Mexican pitcher has held us hitless through four.

Deliciously ironic,or should I say diabolically ironic,that Mattingly is sitting on the right hand of God out in LA,being kept on ice in the event that Girardi fails in NY.Could all the machinations we have seen from Yankeeland be all one huge secret plan????

The one aspect about LaRoche I’ve heard is that with Torre coming in, and both him and Ned Coletti preferring vets in the clubhouse, they may make a move to either sign ARod, or go with a more veteran 3B, which could make LaRoche available via trade.
