There are virtually no pitchers available on the free agent market. With baseball now at $6 billion in revenue and growing faster than the Dog Killers League, why not let 30 (maybe 10) teams determine your value in Nov 2008? Unless you feel an injury is possible but I don't think think athletes do. Also as Pete Abraham suggested recently are the Twinkies going to trade Santana for a few prospects if they are trying to sell tickets?
