At the end of the season, the Yankees had the following players on the 60-day DL: Humberto Sanchez, Darrell Rasner, Andy Phillips, Carl Pavano, and Andrew Brackman.

Iâ€™d think all or most could be put back on right after the rule V draft.

They all had to be put back on the 40 man roster today. You can’t carry over any DL lists after the season.

Feinsand reports the Yanks are interested in Linebrink. (3yr $12mil+) – but heâ€™s a type A meaning weâ€™d have to give up the 28th pickâ€¦ is Linebrink worth our first rounder??

As much as Linebrink is tempting, Iâ€™m thinking the Yanks with the way theyâ€™ve been drafting in the past few years, that would be the better way to go. Now or the future? Hard to say.

If I were Andy Phillips, I would start learning how to catch.

It would help both team and player if Phillips and Duncan both learned to catch. Duncan’s father was a fine catcher for Oakland in the early 70′s.
