He just can't the grind it out for the whole season anymore. And sure, Melky can't hit that well yet: (Damon has, what, almost a decade more experience at the plate?), but he should only improve. Sure, Melky's not untouchable, but he fits fine already and will only get better. PS - I'm old, but I don't remember seeing Melky drop any last summer. I’m as big a fan of Damon as anyone, and am very happy with how his season ended, but the guy’s getting old. He just can’t the grind it out for the whole season anymore.
