So, you want to go to a Yankees game? Get yourself in gear on Wednesday and make it happen.

The Yankees are having their annual food drive that day. This is your chance to help people in the Bronx and get four tickets to a game.

Here is all you do: Bring 25 pounds of non-perishable food to Yankee Stadium (the executive offices entrance) between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. You will then receive a voucher good for four seats for any non-premium game. You have to cash in the voucher before May 31 at the box office.

Here is what they suggest you bring: 2 lb. box macaroni, canned tomato sauce, canned mixed vegetables, 5 lb. bags of potatoes, canned meat (ham, chicken or beef; canned fish (tuna or salmon); dry beans (kidney, pinto).

Bring 50 pounds and you’ll get two vouchers.

So in summation, you get tickets and people get fed. Can’t beat it. So go get some food and make it happen.
