As we wait to see what Roger Clemens has to say on 60 Minutes tonight, check out the terrific guest post by Pat Jordan today over at Baseball Analysts.
If you haven’t read Jordan’s stuff before, make sure you get the collection of his work that will be coming out soon. Alex Belth served as the editor.
Meanwhile, Newsday reports that Clemens and Brian McNamee recently spoke on the telephone. Must have been quite a conversation.
We’ll be live-blogging the Clemens interview.

the boston globe has a full transcript of the interview.
I imagine you’d be live blogging this…
“How about a Lie-Detector Test?” .... (pause)
Interview looks good!
Trivia: Pat Jordan is married to Meg Ryan’s mother, from whom the actress is estranged.
And Jordan is a helluva writer. A great one, in fact.
How about the segment that preceeded the Clemens interview. Here’s a Boston guy that whacked at least 20 people by his own account, and nobody will talk about it after tonight.
Meanwhile the Clemens allegations will take center stage for many weeks and wrung until the last drop.
Hilarious.
