George Steinbrenner did not attend the MLB owners meetings. His sons were also absent. The Yankees were represented by team president Randy Levine and chief operating officer Lonn Trost.
Pete, is that unusual? Any analysis you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Must have been a family issue for all three to miss it. Not sure I like Levine and Trost being trusted with anything, though.
Not like Hank to miss an opportunity to announce who’s the new Boss.
Randy Levine should never be the face of the New York Yankees.
Wonder if George is under the weather? He doesn’t miss stuff like this.

That’s disappointing because I can’t stand Rand Levine and the fact that he is representing the team makes me feel ill.
Levine is one of the least impressive individuals that I have ever encountered.
