Like the complaints about not extending Mo and Posada during spring training last year, these comments reflect hindsight bias. Cano is one of the most valuable players in baseball. A multi-year deal should definitely be explored. Wang, I'm not so sure about. Pitchers are always inherently more risky, but if his asking price isn't too high, it might be worth it.
