I loved LASIK when I had it, it was the BEST thing in the world to wake up and see the sun rise over the mountains with my own two eyes for the first time in 20 years.

The only reason that I haven't dropped my home telephone line is because I use the fax machine... but I did drop the land line and go digital. Its not the most reliable service in the world, though :(

Oh, yeah, go Yanks, lol =) Really, Cash has got some great young talent in the system, there's no need to blow money on outside talent, especially within the pitching corps...

The only thing to keep in mind regarding cell phone service only is that in the event of a major power outage, you will have no service.

The old telephone service (copper wires attached to your house) run on their own power grid - that is why you never had to plug in an old phone, unless you had a cordless handset.

I know that most of us have not experienced a major outage in a long time - or if ever, but remember what happened to cell phones when the WTC towers fell. No antennas - no cell phones.

Anyway, I have both still and while I am concerned about the power issue still, I was also contemplating ditching the old phone for the first time ever.

Old Goat.. think you mean Shields. But, he is a mid-to-back of the rotation type starter who probably just had his best career year in 2007. Locking up a guy like that is wise because Shields has a lot of value but not much ceiling.

Good question. I think its a sequal. As far as Stallone looking the same. Well lets just say that he looks like he has overdosed with B-12 for the injuries his stunt double has sustained during the years.

hahah, seriously. Rambo as a juicing geriatric is probably not as big a draw as First Blood.

Heard that Sheets and the Rays are signing a deal for 7 years, $38 million.

Seems cheap for a starter, even if there have been some health issues, it works out to 5.5 million or so a year.

I’m a little confused about “Rambo”.

Is it the original or a sequel? I can’t tell because Stallone basically looks the same.

I should have stipulated that, before making a lineup.

I agree on Abreu's OBP and SB ability, but if Bobby gets off to another slow start like last season, I want Cano as my #3 hitter.
