Buddy Biancalana, my frustration was more about the article… it made it seem as though that’s what Eiland was saying, when all he said (at least all he was quoted as saying in the article) was that “Weâ€™re going to have a plan going into spring training,” then the author of the article seemed to speculate what that meant…

Are the last two years club or player options? I can’t imagine the Yankees would structure them as player options but some reports describe them as “Cano’s options” Lazy grammar?

Anyone else tired of this Santana garbage? Olney now reports that they are taking final offers today…how much does anyone want to bet that Olney reports that they are taking final offers next week, then the week after, then the week after, then the week after?

I got tired of this junk in December.

For a infielder…FOOT WORK is god. Just think how Jeter would be if he didn’t work on his foot work, same for A-Rod, and especially Jorge. Facts are facts, as they say.

Regarding Cano;
Great signing by both parties. Cano must start to get it…natural ability takes you only so far. The great players i.e., A-Rod, Tony G, Jeter, etc., work at it all the time. The more you have to start with, the more you work to keep it…LONGER. When one loses a step or gets older, your natural ability can no longer carry you. He has a bad habit of throwing across his body on the DP pivot…he forgets his foot work. What will happen when his very strong arm doesn’t Bail him out anymore? In other words he has to practice, just like others do…sometimes last year you could see Bowa get on him about something he did wrong. Who is going to do that this year…Joe G?

Re: Joba starting, heck forget it, no one will change their minds one way or the other…start him.
