Asking Bobby to go 30/30 at this point in his career is probably a bit too much though... but it would be great :P

I don't think he'll make it to his factory in China, it's probably under 10 feet of snow right now. that or the roads / rails that leads to it are.

Not to meantion it's the Chinese new year. so not going to be many people hanging around to greet him there. (though I guess if it's only the boss...)

Actually Bobby Abreu has his personal investment in sports shoes business. It's not announced yet, but, to Abreu idea, the brand name will be "30/30", i.e. 30 HR & 30 steals. A genius idea. Go, go, Bobby!!!

I read some local news in Taiwan. It's said that Abreu is taking a "business" trip to Taiwan and China. Abrea is reported to visit some factories in China that manufacture the products of his business and to visit Taiwan for a related purpose.

Since mass media in Taiwan likes to fabricate news stories, I am not sure if the above information is reliable.

Peter, do you have any information about this?

Of course Taiwan was a Japanese colony from 1895 to 1945, so hopefully Bobby doesn't sample any leftover 63-year-old sushi.

Dim Sum is more of a Hong Kong/Cantonese style, but all Chinese food styles are represented in Taiwan. I had some great dim sum in Taipei back in October!
