I think legally he will come out fine. But it remains to be seen where his head will be at when it's all said and done. Andy could very well become the most important question mark this Spring. The Yanks can't afford to be without him. Honestly, Abreu, Melky, Giambi and Damon all came in a bit over weight. All of them slimmed down through the season, but could be part of the reason for the terrible start, aside from the pitching woes. Of course, starting the season with Pavano probably put a curse on the Yankees. ;) I’ll be curious to see what kind of shape Damon comes in this season. When I heard about it, one thing I thought of was that the Suns were bringing him in to help get more fans in the seats. Even though he is near the end of his career, he is still a draw. That he starts talking to a ball and calls him Wilson. NYPD is sort of a Wilson here. Iv never had a problem with him. But i see that he's rubbed people the wrong way.At least its passing time and not talking about Clemens,Santana etc. Cant wait to get going next week. He didn't really get much of a chance to play first base, though did he? I know some outfield, and dh, of course. But I just checked and he played 9 games at 1B, 10 DH, 8 in RF and 4 in LF.
