Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy, Brian Bruney, Jeff Karstens and a few other pitchers worked out this morning at the minor-league complex.
None spoke to the media. Reporters are restricted to a certain area at the complex and we were too far away to speak to the players.
There was a large crowd of reporters hoping to get some sort of reaction about the Congressional hearings. Writers from Philadelphia, Boston and other cities are here.
Joe Girardi is scheduled to meet with the media later today. Undoubtedly he’ll receive a lot of questions about the hearing.

Vultures circling around the kids. Just kidding, Pete.
Pete, Roger sounds as guilty as sin.
these hearings will prove nothing and are officialy a joke. what is the purpose of these hearings??
He probably did it and my response is so what, this is congress move on.
Counting down is fun.
All this proves is that both Clemens and McNamee are liars.
proving both clemens and mcnamee liars, to me, is a blow to mitchell and his report…
Clemens so sauced, but McNamee is a lying scoundral. His tune, under oath, has changed more times than a street light changes colors.
Let’s talk something that matters. Pitchers and catchers report tomorrow! Woohoo!
