Thanks Pete, I’ll say it again YOU’RE THE GRAETEST,
Oh and great answers by Joba.
Pete if you can some pictures will make you even greater. Thanks again.

One of these days someone is going to comment that I never wear anything but my Joba Rules! t-shirt.

It’ll be exciting to see Joba unwrap that changeup.

Joba can’t be accused of being an “I” or “Me” guy. His role is of no concern to him. No. 27 is.

Great interview. I love how he handled the reporter busting his chops for winning the bowling tourney with a 164.

It’s fun to have a little of the innocence of youth in the Yankee clubhouse again.

    Pete -

As always, thanks for the audio. I love hearing Joba and Phil speak. They are self-assured and yet not “full of themselves.” I’m anxiously awaiting the start of this season.

It is so easy to see why Brian Cashman wants to hold onto these guys. They seem to have that “something else” that’s necessary to pitch in NYC. It’s not easily found, and they’ve got at least 2 of them. Now, I’d love to hear from IPK!

He is very well-spoken. I cringe every time A-rod or Jeter are interviewed

  10. Jax February 14th, 2008 at 5:58 pm

Doreen I believe IPK doesn’t talk to the media.

Anyone catch what he said at the end when the reporter asked him about his curve (following up after Joba talked about his change up).

He said its his best pitch……thats scary.

Like a lot of kids these days, he talks too darned fast. I could understand about 2 words in 10 at the rate he was talking.
