Peter, I just wanted to say 'Thanks' for all the work you do on ths blog and all the information you pass along. I remember not that long ago when spring training seemed like it took place on another planet because of the lack of news reported from camps. Now, thanks to you, we have multiple updates a day. Enjoy the warm weather. -BP in NY

Following up on my comment on the last pos.....Just got confirmation from Will Carroll in an email. HGH was not a controlled substance when Pettitte took it. Also, there is some question that it was covered under the normal prescription drug laws until 2005. Therefore, it is very debatable that Pettitte taking HGH broke the rules in any way. That definitely puts a different spin on the situation, doesn't it??

What??! That's not Bruney! So I guess no more Brian was busy eating pizza when Joe called him from the BP joke anymore.

Hey Pete, thanks again for this blog.

Just want to take a second and thank Pete for all he does. Clearly he puts in the hours to have what many would consider a dream job and is diligent and professional in his reporting. Thanks for all you do Pete and here's to a great year.
That said, I disagree on the Matsui trade suggestion. Too much international appeal and clutch hitting. His health should be less of an issue with the increased rest and I don't think you get alot for a aging left fielder (didn't SF just unload one of those?).

Bruney looks like he lost 30 pounds! Wow.
Something interesting to consider. Last year I lost 25 pounds and got down to a good weight for me. My golf swing speed up and I added ten yards to my irons. It will be interesting to see if the weight loss adds to Bruney's fastball or takes away.

I need to see that guy's arm to know if it's really Bruney. Only the tattoo will reveal his true identity. It's the big bushy hair + ridiculous weight loss that got me.

Farnsworth's hair is kind of funny too. It's all curly!

Sorry Pete, but I was trying to be polite. I could use harsher language but I am following your rules.
