Rebecca - "Is it me or does Damon look like he came to play?"

I can't believe you think Damon looks like he came to do anything... Seriously? You think he looks sharp? I'm not a Damon hater, but I'll admit I'm no Yankee's fan... but c'mon? "came to play"? I am really tempted to say something crude about what he's going to play with...

Seriously?

When somethings going wrong
You must whip it

Now whip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
Its not too late
To whip it
Whip it good

I can't tell if this post is a compliment to Dana Cavalea or a subtle way of diminishing any accomplishment of Girardi. Me thinks the latter...

20 plus million a year and he's bitching about running? Wow, letting Joe "Country Club" Torre leave was the best move the Yankees made this off season. If these guys really want it they will not mind putting in the work in to get it...

Glad to hear that the team is getting whipped into shape. Especially as they're an older team they need to work at it. You can't just coast at 33 like you could at 23 (and let's not even discuss 40. Oy.)

I always find it mind boggling that any baseball team would not want its players in peak physical condition. Isn't it a no brainer that well conditioned players will play better on average over the long term? It is very frustrating when you see coaches - such as Torre - who appear rather blase about conditioning.

Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy, but with the hundreds of millions of dollars invested each season, why don't they have the players doing yoga? Seems to me that if they were limber, they wouldn't be pulling as many muscles and hamstrings.
