Pocono Chris: Sirius has Stern. That's about the only advantage. XM has every MLB game.

If/when the merger goes through, it won't matter.

But I doubt that you've actually compared the two, anyway.

to jennifer- Hip Hip Jorge: My hobby is attending at least one game in every ball park in the majors; and, to date, I've been to then all. (Note: I may be one of the few people left who has been to World Series games in Ebbetts Field, the Polo Grounds and old Yankee Stadium; that is, before it was remodeled. And if God is willing and the Creek don't rise, sometime in the near future, my wife and I will attend a game in the new Yankee Stadium.) So, having established my credentials (so to speak): if you can so manage it (it's a tough ticket any time of the year), I suggest you go to see the SF Giants play a home game. As I say, I've seen a lot of ball parks in my day, but I'm absolutely sure that this venue is the way ballparks are put together in baseball paradise.

                      Southron

P.S. On the other hand, baseball hell is a home game at the Oakland Coliseum on a windy and cold night when beer is being sold at half-price.

Oh, and as for our beloved Yankee Stadium, I say that it is to baseball what Gettysburg is to American history. My wife and I have tickets in June so we can see the old girl off one last time.

"Spring training is like being sent to live on a remote island in the Pacific with baseball fields, chain restaurants and strip clubs."

And you get paid for it. It's snowing here in Toledo.

Gee, Peter, outside of no mention of running all the time, your story sounds much like being a members of a Marine Corps line company.
