You know this has to be a fake when they try and pull the wool over your eyes about Pavano throwing a perfect game.

funny, and I like the mention of Pete, but the fictional player quotes needed to have more “obviously”s. In reality, players say “obviously” every other sentence, Girardi 3 sentences out of 4.
Those Onion guys think they’re pretty funny… and they are.
I really like the part about beaning Jim Rome. Maybe they can get Colin Cowherd to be the mascot & stand behind homeplate.
They forgot Knoblock beaning Keth Overman’s mother.
