I tried to convince myself that this was a sign that Pavano would have the big season for which he's been paid, but I couldn't. This is a different team than opened the season last year. If -- God forbid -- something were to happen to CMW, Joe could always throw Joba at the unsuspecting and hapless Jays. I've always liked Karstens and hope he can put something together.
