SJ44,

Obviously the intrasquad game is meaningless. Any knowledgeable baseball fan knows that the Yankees season will make or break based on how they fare against South Florida! ;-)

Hmmm,

Yup. We had'em all day.

Folks actually believe an intrasquad game matters. More precisely, they feel they can draw conclusions from them.

We had our regulars making fun of them, and the game, for most of the day.

For others though, this "game" was a mirror into the soul of the Yankees season.

"Austin Jackson clearly showed why he’s every bit of 3 years away. No plate discipline."

is this a serious post?

I notice that it wasn't the Yankee veterans who made the errors.

Anti-Pettitte sounds like the troll mate from which NYPD113 spawned that impish Chris troll. I wonder who was facing which way ...

Plenty of spots opening up on the 40-man (and $$$ of the payroll) when some of the older FA's and that wasted one are off the books. If he's not ML-ready by next season and they plan on keeping Tabata, they won't leave him out there for a Rule V.
