  1. tom

what was the final score pete ?

  2. Erik

Clearly, Karstens is our new ace.

  3. Rebecca--Optimist Prime--Mission 2708

So, what’s McCutcheon’s line mean when translated from binary code? :-D

  4. tom

    what was the final pete?

  5. Lori

Looks like the final was 6-2, right?

  6. DMan

    “Traber 1 3 2 2 1 0″

Darnit Traber, Im rooting for you! Do better next time.

  7. Guiseppe Franco

Looks like the old Sean Henn is back. Couldn’t find the plate. Again.

  8. DMan

Traber and Henn, the two lefties didn’t do so hot..

I wonder if they actually pitched agaisnt any left handed hitters though..

  9. Albany Joe

So much for Henn having a great season so far.

  10. SP

    Rebecca,

McCutchen looks like 1 inning pitched, 1 hit, 1 unearned run, 1 walk, 1 strikeout

  11. YankeesBen (I'm Happy Hughes Stayed)

Yeah my team won!! sounds the lefty spot is wide open,

  12. Jeff

Looks like we won’t carry a lefty reliever.

  13. YankeesBen (I'm Happy Hughes Stayed)

    I think thats “Earned Runs”

  14. saucY

    Rebecca

    EBCDIC or ASCII?

  15. Josh

looks like our lefties suck still lol

  16. Southern Yankee

    Saucy : Fieldata (UNIVAC)

  17. Patrick

    Rebecca,

    McCutcheon’s line in:

    binary: 59
    ASCII: ;
    Hex: 3B

  18. Ross (NYYStadiumInsider.com)

    Sean Henn = SUCKED

    Mark Melancon = GREAT

  19. Ross (NYYStadiumInsider.com)

Oh wait, Melancon gave up a run. Damnit.

  20. SP

Melancon’s run was unearned though…so he still did well
    :-)

That Karstens and Rasner did well against the more frontline guys is great – that Traber and Henn struggled against the scrubs not so great. Bring on Igawa! Likely evrybody’s working on some specific things at this point, so nothing should be read into today.

7 errors – ugh! But all by guys with a lower probability of being on the squad come April. And hopefully Ensberg keeps stroking.

  22. pcgpm

How about Jackson with the only K for his side. Wonder who he got.

Also anyone know why Ohlendorf only went .2 innings.

  23. filthy slider

Please get rid of Henn now.

  24. Bad Scooter

Some people are funny. Concluding no lefty in the pen from an intrasquad game on February 27th. Relax people.

  25. saucY

as long as nobody’s arm fell off, they all did well

  26. mickey's monkey

anyone who draws any kind of firm conclusions from these first-day stats is just being silly.
henn might’ve been told by eiland to throw only sliders. melancon might’ve given up three warning-track line drives that got caught. folks should just chill and enjoy the fact that ST in underway!
