Mike Mussina knows he has doubters. But Joe Girardi isn’t one of them.
The intrasquad game was an ugly affair. This notebook also has word of a pitcher with a sore elbow and a short workout scheduled for today.

Mike Mussina seems to be the story of the day. Star Ledger had an article on him as well. It’s a credit to Mussina that not only does he recognize the circumstances surrounding the back end of his (or any pitcher’s) career, but that he’s so openly talking about it.
I can’t believe it’s almost March already. February just flew past. Here’s to the start of the spring baseball schedule. And I’ll have a bloggy-mary with that! (After all, it is only breakfast time

Still a liltte chilly today but will start warming up tomorrow.
