Always good to see Jim Clark check in with a bigoted view. The same guy who is not man enough to give a real e-mail address. At least Spike and Bruce stand up for what they believe, like real men.

I saw spike lee going into the Springsteen “Rising” show at MSG. Thought it was odd that he’d be a springsteen…but he bumped up a few notches in my book.

I enjoyed the “25th Hour”, good performances by Ed Norton and Brian Cox, a great character actor. Worth watching solely for the bathroom mirror rant.

Favorite Spike Lee films are “Clockers” and “Crooklyn”.

Joba is one class act. Taken in part from an article by Kat O’Brien of Newsday …..

And speaking of Joba, he did something pretty cool this weekend, flying in a lower-income family from his hometown of Lincoln, Neb., so that they could go to Disney World. Joba said he never has been on a family vacation because they never had the money to do that. So he asked a high school coach of his, who’s also a teacher, to “find me a family that works hard for everything they’ve got but doesn’t have anything extra.” So he flew the family—two parents and three kids—to Florida for a trip to Disney World. He met them there on Sunday, which was his first trip to Disney and first time on a roller coaster. He liked Space Mountain, he said.
