It sounds like SJ is recommending the plunk, which will hurt, but won't run the risk of having someone out of the game for 10 flipping weeks. It can be done just like Joba did, by throwing over the head, which sure won't hurt any one. It doesn't sound like SJ is recommending an eye for an eye here (or a wrist for a wrist); just a little chin music to avoid the Yankees from turning into the punching bag for a team they play 19 times a year.
