I think I might be going crazy or something but, growing up as a Met's fan I swear I can remember seeing Billy Crystal on Tv in the stands in the 80's at the Met games wearing a Met's hat. I gues he gave up on them after they starting sucking and the Yanks were kicking ass. So how can he be a lifelong fan of the Yanks if he was a Met's fan?

Pete - Is that really true about Billy Crystal playing for the Yankees on Thursday or is it a joke? I hope it is only a joke because if not, it certainly debases the game.

I joked that Billy Crystal might be the Yankees best signing in years. And then I thought about the lumps we signed the last couple of years, realized I might be right, and cried.

Thanks, Clare. You get an A+.

Nice to know that Ian got stronger.

I know it's only ST, but I wonder what the rest of baseball thinks when they see our young pitching.

Thanks for the link Clare. Enjoyed the article. It's good to be back reading the comments again. I was out of town all last week on business. I've been checking the posts, but haven't had time to read the comments.
