Have Pavano do it the next time

Kei Igawa threw a bullpen before the game and wanted somebody to stand at the plate and pose as a batter.
His interpreter, Yohei Fukuda, volunteered.
You can guess what happened. Yes, Igawa hit him with a pitch.

Where did he get hit?
I know its the wrong post but,
Derek Jeter on a college campus is like a wolf making his way through the sheep field.
Probably payback for Duncan’s hard slide into Iwamura…
AHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Knowing Pavano’s history however, doing that might constitute a homicide. Might not be a good idea.
This team isn’t taking crap from anyone this year. Not from the Rays, and certainly not from any foreign interpreters!
I am absolutely shocked that you would intimate that Pavano step into the batter box to help Igawa’s bullpen work. Doesn’t Joba throw harder?
You can’t make this stuff up.
you can’t make it up.
some things were just meant to be and his interpretor getting plunked is one of those things.
So if Igawa plunks half of the Rays’ lineup on Saturday it’s clearly not intentional ;)...
Kei Igawa has impeccable control
In the YES lead up to the game presenting the pitching staff, Eiland said that Farnsworth “Has the best ‘pure stuff’ in baseball.”
SJ, CB, Whozat… what do you make of that endorsement?
In parallel, having Cone as an announcer is terrific.
He’ll never live that one down
Eiland and Girardi are giving Farnsy a confidence boost. We’ll see if it works.
He obviously lost a bit of confidence last season under Torre (not that it was Torre’s fault he gave up a HR every time out).
Where is Pavano, anyway? Did he report to camp?
He was in the dugout the other day.
Igawa’s interpreter then called Igawa a “skinny, pus-ssy toad.”
Had Igawa tossed to Pavano, Kei might have seperated his should and Pavano would have broken his leg in two place as well as several ribs.
Igawa’s interpreter said the pitch was a “borderline criminal act”.
He’s going to Tampa to be Iwamura’s translator after today.
If Pavano stepped in and got hit, he’d probably find some way to turn that into a contract extension. Then we’d never be rid of him. He is the albatross hanging around the collective Yankee neck.
Not that you wish for a player to get injured, but wouldn’t the Yankes want Igawa to get injured ala Pavano, so they can at least collect the insurance money for him & not waste any innings and games on him ???
Maybe they should stick his locker next to Pavano & through “osmosis” he’s get all achy ‘n sore.
Is it ironic that a man so fragile as Pavano would wind up being a punching bag?
lol~~
Igawa is so cute~~ this guy is incredible~~
They should send Pavano and Igawa on a fishing trip together. Just like Fredo in the God Father II.
Of course, Igawa’s Interpreter would be the one the finish off the two over paid part time pitchers…..
