With all the send down/call up options we have for those 3 games, it'll be fine. We start the season against Toronto anyway, not exactly offensive juggernauts so I'm sure we can still match em with the bats. Besides, we were thinner than this on Opening Day last year because of injuries. All is well, everything will be fine, and as someone else somewhere on this blog said, I think the shot in the arm this gives the Yanks makes up for not having Shelley and Melky for 3 days. Usually I don't compare one sport to another but in this case it is the perfect analogy - Bruce Bowen is widely believed to be the dirtiest player in the NBA, when has that seriously hurt the Spurs?
