Peter,

I'll chalk it up to you drinking too much Guiness to think 'C.C. Sabathia would be a good fit for the Yankees.' Please don't write any more articles about the Yankees signing Sabathia; someone in the front office may read it and take it seriously.

"Also, it’s ridiculous to say he’s bad in big games based on one post-season."

It's also ridiculous to say he's a true ace off of one good season.

He's not just 'huge.' He's got a reputation for being lazy. That's the kind of guy you want to make a 7 or 8 year commitment to? At that kind of money? What about financial flexibility? Isn't that what the team was preaching to us when they passed on Santana?

I'm shocked that Yankee fans are so eager to get this guy after the string of terrible moves the team has made with the pitching. Aren't we supposed to be building off the farm from now on?

Girardi was trying trying to help out an old friend by letting Leyritz into the Yankee clubhouse. Remember, he is a former player. He will have to pay the price for his actions..period. By the way, not that it matters, but I heard on the radio this morning that the woman he killed had a higher alcohol level then he did! Crazy.

Pete - I think it was wrong of Leyritz to go to the clubhouse yesterday and I am sure that Cashman and others of the Yankee brass did not want him there.

I certainly wouldn't want to be his lawyer.

Jennifer,

After watching Igawa get rocked on Saturday, I am really disappointed they didn't trade him to SD last year when they had the chance.
I was going to say that it really isn't his fault because he didn't hold a gun to the team for the posting fee. But then again, supposedly he wasn't in the best shape when he showed up this spring. What's up with that? You stink up the joint last year, you know the team invested a lot in you, and you need to pitch your way into shape?
It leads me to believe he either has an attitude problem or he is just not too bright.

If they bought stock that was once worth $170 for $2, what do you think we could get for Kei or Carl?

My neighbors co-worker worked for Bears for 10 years had stock and everything from them, now it is worthless.
