Several tickets remain for the LoHud Yankees Blog Readers outing to see the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa. on Saturday, June 7 at 7:00 against the Syracuse Chiefs, the AAA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The outing will be held in the Coors Light Pavilion, a multi-level area located down the left field line, and near the Yankees bullpen, offering the opportunity to sit or mingle during the game. Cost per ticket is approximately $25 and includes game admission, all the food you can eat (hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken), soda, water, an SWB Yankees cap and a game program. Adult beverages are available at extra cost from a private bar area within the pavilion.
Anyone interested e-mail me at yankslifer@yahoo.com as soon as possible. Please include your LoHud blog posting name in the e-mail so I can let everyone attending know who will be at the game.

great game to pick- you get to see sal fasano play for the chiefs.
I hope sal fasano’s mustache is there too
my thoughts exactly. sal rocks!
Anyway we can get one of these organized for a Trenton Thunder game or a Staten Island game? Those are more in my area, lol. Scranton is a little bit too far, but it does sound like a great afternoon.
Last year Fasano played the Syracuse Chiefs and was involved in one of the most hilarious plays I saw all season here in Scranton. Fasano had a rough night, but it was funny to watch. Stevev White hit him twice with inside curve balls. On first base after the second HBP, White threw a pitch in the dirt and Fasano took off for second and I tell you it looked like he was tied to a tree. He made second standing only because Santos bobbled the ball, but on the next pitch the hitter bunted back to the pitcher and Fasano inexplicably took off for third and was caught in the funniest rundown I’ve seen in a long time. I think at one point he was near the pitcher’s mound. Too funny for words. They took him to the clubhouse for oxygen
