Still more lineup changes!

March
22

2B Robinson Cano was scratched for what the Yankees said was “general body stiffness.”

Come up with your own jokes.

Chris Woodward will start in his place. The lineup is now:

Damon CF
Jeter SS
Abreu RF
Rodriguez 3B
Giambi 1B
Posada C
Matsui DH
Duncan LF
Woodward 2B

Igawa is not injured. There’s a threat of rain, so the Yankees wanted to see the relievers pitch. Igawa would pitch the last three or four innings. Tells you what they think of him.

You know, Pete, my mind didn’t go there until you made it go there.

  2. Yu Conn Du Eek

    Come on, let’s go J. Alba !

  3. Skippy

We salute you, General Body Stiffness.

  4. Skippy

In all seriousness, wouldn’t “general body stiffness” mean, like, dead?

(Okay, I’ll get back to work.)

  5. Yankee4life!

SO we get to see Albaladejo, Joba, and Hawkins before Igawa.
