If you can’t get tickets to the All-Star Game (and few will be able to), you could always volunteer to help out.

Do they need a 50 year old batboy?

  2. Ryan

Did the front of the blog just change for anyone else?

“Very few volunteers will be needed on the day of the All-Star Game, except at FanFest. No volunteers will be utilized in Yankee Stadium on game day. All volunteers will have an opportunity to win All-Star Game tickets. Volunteers also have the opportunity to experience All-Star Week through the events prior such as the DHL All-Star FanFest® at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.”

I’m definitley going to have to consider it, though they do say no volunteers are needed the day of the game…

Brian Cashman obviously checks this blog daily ( or even semi-hourly ).

My best guess is that the poster named “anti-mussina” = Brian Cashman.

I said “Omgod” over again for 5 minutes.

    And then I applied.

As a warning, Firefox is indicating NO SSL socket protection or secure webpage.

Caveat emptor on filling that out.

Who the hell would want to do this crap for free? You don’t even get tickets to the game…

Matty is right this site has no SSL encryption and is asking for a lot of sensitive information. However, if you are using a device like Juniper’s SA2000 from your company’s network its likely all your web traffic is rewritten in HTTPS and encrypted.

I don’t know…they probably want you to be friendly and nice and all that. I’d get fired in under an hour.

  12. Brian from PA

it seems like a cool thing at first but then the more you read into it…doesn’t seem worth it to me. thanks for the link anyway pete.

If I volunteer, is there a chance that I will get All-Star Game tickets?

Every summer I do have some time for myself, as most of people do, and I try to attend some of the major events especially sports ones and particularly baseball ,to which I have a special love. When I was a child I used to go with my father to watch baseball games and of course he used to pay. And for me I do not care about prices and how high they are. But now it’s different, and I realize that there are some prices which I can not afford. On July there will be one of the great baseball events it’s the All-Star Game. I was wondering if I could attend this year because tickets are always sky rocked. But a friend has recommended me a site where to compare ticket prices before booking. This way I can look for the cheapest tickets offered in the ticket market.
