I don't think he has an injury. If his back was injured, they would have sent him for an MRI. I'm just thinking that if he can't throw this week, it may be prudent to DL him, leave him in Tampa to get well (helluva lot better to loosen up in the heat and humidity in FL than in the cold of Toronto and NY in April) and go from there. I just have a feeling his back, while not "injured" is not going to be ready to crank up for the season. Hopefully, I'm wrong and he will be ready to go. He injured his back last season and started the season. He may get bumped back a slot or two but I think he'll start the season with them. 15 days is way too much for something like this. If that's all it is this time, he might have a set back for start or two. As long as it isn't something like Randy Johnson's back problems, I'm assuming he'll be fine once it clears up.
