oops. guess i was wrong. i just remember going from east coast FL to tampa, but now that i think about it, i started a lot further north than miami (boynton beach).

i'd still drive though. i find it relaxing. (especially in FL)

"If he can throw strikes, let him pitch."

Because I'd rather use those innings to see some promising youngsters.

google maps says its a 4:08 hour drive from steinbrenner field to dolphing stadium. just take I-75 and you're set.

also, Pete, go to 'El Cacique' rest. it is next to the Miami Art Museum, great cuban cuisine at good prices.

why?

If he can throw strikes, let him pitch. if he can't, then they won't call him up.

"I got a feeling we’ll see Pavano"

I will personally place banana peels all over his home to make sure this does not happen.

How's Pavano's rehab coming along?

I got a feeling we'll see Pavano and Humberto Sanchez on the roster this September.

Since I'm sure to most ballplayers, except Pavano, playing well means as much as the money, part of me is pulling for Bruney and a successful season. He's a professional ballplayer, so he can excel.

Go Yanks.
