no hullabaloo b/c he was throwing 94 in his last ST start. go back and look at Gameday. 94 and hits 95 in the 5th.

it was cold.

Mussina picked up a MPH or two last night from his first start. Joba was throwing mostly 94 in his first appearance or two.

Well, until there’s a real problem, I won’t worry about Phil’s radar readings. Hitters & catchers have always said his pitches seem faster.
