Ditto to what others have said about renaming the bereavement list, I assumed the worst when I saw that. My thoughts & prayers are with the Chamberlain family.

As far as backing up 3B, I think Ensberg could probably handle those duties for a few days. He is a career third baseman. Since Betemit is on the DL, maybe they could bring up Miranda for a few days in case the need to spell Giambi at first.

Dude, YES’ programming is painful… I couldnt even sit through 15 minutes of Yesterdays with Joba, it was beyond awful.

I wonder if Patterson is a little upset. Wasn’t he told that he would get the first call if someone went down. I know this is alittle different as Joba will be back soon.
