Personally, I feel sorry for Larry the gameday dude, who has to suffer and record down every play of this heinous loss.
Ehh, it's not so bad. Doing the work takes a little of the emotion out of the game. You're watching it in a different way than you normally do anyway (looking for runners in motion, seeing who touched the ball, checking to see if the ump signaled for a foul tip), which also helps.

They always seem to lose when I'm working, but trying to stay professional helps keep the emotions in check.

Manny Ramirez is playing out of this world baseball right now. I can't believe this. Its like the Yankees and Manny are on opposite ends of the universe.

Rebecca- I want to marry a girl like you. But I have plenty of time to find her as i'm only 19. I won't marry anyone until the yankees win another world series anyway.

Yeah Rasner can get out of the 3rd inning, but the best we've seen of Ian Kennedy is much better than the best we've seen of Rasner. I really still think Hughes and Kennedy will be fine. Right now there is just way too much pressure on them. The Yankees have a third starter who is washed up and an offense that is producing nothing... The only way Ian Kennedy wasn't going to get slapped with a loss tonight was if he went out there and shut them out. I think he has the ability to do that, but that's just too much pressure for a rookie pitcher. And Ian Kennedy isn't stupid, he probably knew tonight after the first inning or two that the offense was going to give him basically nothing to work with.

Good Evening

Not sure if this was posted before...but according to the Newark Star Ledger in NJ...Wilson Betemit was being sought by the Pirates for 3B,before his DL stint with Pink EYE.

Hopefully they will still be interested in a week!!

As bad as Rasner is, he has proven that he can get out of the 3rd inning.

Frank, I agree with having Joba replace Moose, but Kennedy and Hughes? Rasner has had his chance before as a starter and he's never looked good. And if you call up someone else for Hughes that's silly because you'll have the same development problem with a pitcher who isn't even as highly touted. If Joba can be the starter everyone thinks he can be, you can live with Hughes and Kennedy in the rotation. The problem right now is the top 3, because the Yankees really only have 2 starters to depend on.

There is only one thing is certain at Yankees.

That is, Cashman needs to go. With him as GM, Yankees will not have another WS title or even division championship.
