Phil Hughes was better but not good enough as the Yankees fell to the Orioles.

Alex Rodriguez admits he knows the trainer mentioned in Jose Canseco’s book. But both he and Joseph Dion deny involvement with steroids.

The only free agent of significance that the Yankees will go after in the near future is Mark Teixeira.
C.C. Sabathia will have to completely turn his season around and only because he’s lefthanded would he get consideration.
The rest falls in the Cashman plan of developing from within.
It’s hilarious seeing all the panic buttons and naysaying on this board and the one person that’s not in a panic mode is none other than Hank Steinbrenner.

I hope the A-Rod/trainer story goes away soon because if it ever turns out that he did use steroids I will wash my hands of baseball.
