Power surge for Abreu

Greetings from U.S. Cellular Park, where it’s a nice sunny day but a bit windy. Just had lunch at Rosebud on Rush. The Chicken Vesuvio was fantastic.

As for the Yankees:

* Bobby Abreu has three home runs. His third home run last season came on June 6.

* Johnny Damon’s last two games: 5 for 9, 5 RBI, 2 HR, 4 runs.

* Mo’s line so far this season: 7.1 4 0 0 0 8. 98 pitches / 67 strikes.

* The Yankees have scored three or less runs in 10 games.

If you’re a Springsteen fan, check out this review of the first show since the tragic passing of Danny Federici. Sounds like the band really did Danny proud.

Backstreets.com has done a tremendous job of covering the tour.
