Baby it was cold outside but Chien-Ming Wang stayed hot as the Yankees snapped their losing streak.

Jorge Posada will be out for 5 or 6 weeks as his shoulder mends. This notebook also has updates on Ian Kennedy and Phil Hughes.

Mets and Yankees fans are finding it tough to park. Ken Valenti has that story.

When will CMW get the Ace designation? Ever since he started using a slider, split, or change with his sinker he has been great. What else dose he have to do? I know…20 wins! 27/08.

He’s got to make splash in the postseason. We already know he can author an outstanding regular season. Postseason? 4 starts and he was good once. An Arod among pitchers you might say.

“When will CMW get the Ace designation?”

    By who?

    He is already the ace.
    Girardi treats him like that.
He was the opening day starter.
He is stoppoer of losing streaks like yesterday.

Trade Wang to Mariners if Yanks don’t like him. The only way for M’s to stop losing streak against Wang is to sign him back…
