By the time he got to around Pennsylvania, he realized he had to go back. The minor leagues are about more than just baseball in the same way that college is about more than just learning in a classroom. It's a time grow up a little (hopefully) and begin to get adjusted to making adult decisions and handling responsibility. Tabata made a bad choice and is accepting the consequences for it. Coming back to the team and apologizing shows me he is learning something from it. Unless it happens again, I write it off to a dumb but non fatal choice by a 19 year old. I realize he's only 19, but some of the kids he's playing with are only a couple of years older and you don't see them throwing tantrums and threatening to quite. Sheesh. As he is in this organization and supposedly a top prospect, I will have to root for him, but I have no respect for him. Jose needs to stop acting like a 5 year old. In the last two games he has won, Sabathia and Bedard were also pitching pretty well and Wanger was just better.
