One could see Farnsys' improvement this year, if one were not so use of his blowing a game here and there. This year he has been good. A few of us have mentioned this, a time or two, but most passed on the comments. He is much better this year, weather it is the cutter or Joe G., I don't know. Realistically speaking, I still think (With the people on the DL) the team needs a wake-up call. Get rid of some of these guys (Ensberg, betemit) and call up some rookies. Maybe Mitch Hilligoss or Alberto, for the infield. Maybe Brett or Justin (speed) for the OF. It seems that every time they bring up a high energy and hungry player...the team takes off, of course getting A-Rod/Jorge back would also help. Yanks are not playing well at all...is that statement redundant? Oh, well. 27/08.

It was kind of strange watching on gameday as Papsmears ERA went down on every hit against him. Wierd.

Hey Stuart

No offense, but Varitek isn't half the player Posada is (when's the last time he hit .340) - so yes, a four year deal would be ridiculous.. Posada may end up a borderline HOFer on the other hand

Ray, in the past 24 hours we've seen Joba give up his first runs at the Stadium and Wang lose his first game, we have to find joy wherever we can.
