Trisha I certainly hope the Yankees are thinking along the lines that I am thinking of, but they are probably not. If they are thinking what I am thinking it is start Rasner on Friday and anybody not named Igawa on Thursday as Rasner is the only person with enough rest that I would trust for
Friday night. I am not minimizing the Tampa series at all here, but there are just some series in which you have to put your better guys out there against.

The main issue that I have with the Yankees right now is that they spent 46 million dollars on a piece of trash. Of course with what they are spending they are going to look bad with him in Triple A, but that is the highest place where he belongs and he should preferably go back wherever he came from.

Hey, wouldn’t it be a hoot if Boomer is brought back for a try? I would definitely be on board for that. It can’t be worse than what we already have slotted for #5, which is nothing!

Yes Trisha, it would be a hoot but it won’t happen. The sane thing to do is send Igawa to AAA and consult Nardi Contreras as to who is the best bet to plug the No. 5 start, Chase Wright or Steven White both of which are on the 40-man roster.
Neither can possibly give less than Igawa has if the truth be known.

SA that was the most recent. I’ve seen quite a few like that, so I think some people may be getting mixed up about whether Rasner will still be in the rotation, where yes, the discussion was meant to revolve around when and not if.

trisha-Well, I just see people wondering when exactly we will see Rasner pitching..not if we will ever see him pitch again. I think it’s safe to say Rasner will be with us for some time. Unless he decides to channel his inner Igawa..
