"Can’t get hitters out and think he has done his job."

Where did this pitcher cockiness come from?? Ian's the worst. Although Joba has proven himself, his penchant for shaking off catchers is troublesome. I don't know if any of you remember this from the NYY/BOS series in Boston this year - Buchholz shook of Varitek and it resulted in the Yanks getting a hit. Sometimes there is just too much confidence with these kids.

Agreed with you. I think IK is not ready for the bigs. He's had limited experence in the minors after all.......Sick of seeing him really.

I'm really sick of this cocky Kennedy. Can't get hitters out and think he has done his job.

Please send him back where he belongs.

The underachievers vs. the overachievers series is over and thankfully those dumb cowbells won't need to be heard again until early September.

I never used to watch SportsCenter or whatever it is that's on ESPN in the morning around 9 a.m., but I recently started working out and right smack in front of the treadmills is a large flat screen tv (aren't those things ubiquitous these days?) with ESPN tuned in. As you might imagine, some days that's a welcome thing; others, not so much. :(

Sounds like Delgado isn't the only one who is media shy in the Mets clubhouse. I heard on one of the radio shows today that Santana wouldn't speak with the NY media but gave an interview to ESPN Desportes.

You know what I hate the most about this erraticism? I watch SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight very seldom these days. I can't bring myself to turn it on when we lose.
