It’s raining in the Boogie Down

Peter Abraham

I can report that at 2:45 p.m., it’s pouring in the Bronx.

No clue what the Yankees plan to do, however. I’ll post the news as soon as I hear something.

  1. S.A.- I still believe in this team. But they need to wake up.

    Good lord.
It’s Delgado, Beltran, Willie, Omar day at WFAN…
I’m just waiting for Steve the wacko Mets fan to call and chime in.

    OMG! Here he is! LOL

If there’s even the slightest chance, these two teams will definitely opt for the marketing coup that is a split double header between the two stadiums in June, especially when they are both closing down after the season.

Brandon-Steve is ridiculous! Even Russo is laughing at him.

Omar Minaya must have pissed his pants when he heard that call

  10. Bobby Valentine

Fans should not make a big deal out of it if they see a guy in the stands that appears to be wearing a disguise.
Not to be construed as somebody lobbying for Willie’s job.

  11. Justin

I agree with Matt..of course a Saturday doubleheader would be nice too….Good sports day, Yankees-Mets The Preakness and then Yanks-Mets game 2.

But, Matt’s right. A split doubleheader would probably be what they’ll do.

  12. Bill from NJ

I still think they get the game in tonight.

    6P-9P – 75% Chance of Precep.
    9P-12A – 50% Chance of Precep.

  14. 56Bomber

Its gone from light rain to drizzle/mist in central NJ in the past 2 hours… still nasty though.. cool too – about 50 degrees.

  15. TurnTwo

why play the game tonight in damp/cool conditions when its supposed to be sunny and 70 degrees all day tomorrow?

if the yankees have any decency for the fans that have to sit thru the game, they’ll push it back to a day/night tomorrow, IMO.

  16. Bill from NJ

    TurnTwo-

Most weather reports have it raining (isolated t-storms) tomorrow after 4pm till like 10pm

  17. Jeter's Future Wife

Tim Kurkjiun from ESPN says that Yankees will HIT and will come out of this hitting slump, so there you go!
