I do buy into the idea that Cash, etc. are using this year as a step to greater things next year, but I have a very hard time thinking that they're just going to let it go this year.

Moves will be made, heat will be turned up and attitudes changed, the Yankees will be playing much better in a few weeks and will be in contention. Meanwhile the Sox are playing almost as poorly. All the Yankees hater love to say we're "in last place." Fine, but 1st is only 6 games ahead...big deal.

I'm not worrying yet. I hate watching, but I'm not worrying. Remember the Giants/Rockies series' last year? More dismal than anything yet this year, for sure.

Andy getting that loss yesterday was just unfair. He kept us in that game. Farnsworth, for all intents and purposes, lost that game.

Again, I don't know what it is with these nighttime posters, but you guys are way off the mark. You want to blame someone for the ills of this team, then blame management for moving away from the style of baseball that won us for four championships and turning us into a bloated beast with bad contracts in the early part of this decade. They've left us old, with albatrosses all over the places, and holes that have never been properly filled.

You DON'T blame Andy Pettite, Darrell Rasner, Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy, or Joba Chamberlain however.

Moose is 39, Andy is unreliable, Rasner is not proven with only 2 starts, Igawa, Kenny & Hughes is useless, Joba doesn't look dominant any more.

Good job Cashman.

James, you don't know how Girardi is in the clubhouse. He might be making their lives miserable, and that could cause the batters to press at the plate.

Given his demeanor in after - game interviews, I wouldn't think it a very fun place in the clubhouse lately.

I also think that Meachem is terrible as a third base coach.

When the offense dies like the Yankees have, the pitching staff won't be far behind. Too much pressure to be perfect.

This team doesn't look like they are having all that much fun.

Most days I feel things are gonna be fine soon after Alex and Jorge return. But after a day like today, I have to ask myself, with guys making $10, 13, 20 mills like we have, shouldn't they be able to step up when Alex and Jorge are not around?

Most other teams, including Baltimore and Tampa Bay, don't have an Alex or Jorge to begin with, still they're leading us in our division. Why can't we compete unless we have Alex and Jorge in the lineup??

"Girardi need to think about his leadship deeply, and so do the pitching coach and hitting coach."

Yes. Clearly Girardi is the reason why the offense can only score no more than 2 runs in a game or the pitching staff giving up gophers.

I really donn't want to see Yankees loss any more.
Please do something.
